The following statement gives some idea of our increased activities during last year as compared with the previous two years.

For the three months working of the present year, the revenue is still rising steadily, and I estimate the revenue will exceed expenditure by $70000 by December 1928 and for 1929 a balance of $100000 over expenditure may reasonably be expected if my proposals are adopted.

13. I submit that these results justify further expenditure being incurred in bringing the station

up to present requirements, it is desirable to effect

an improvement this year, and I am submitting a programme to cover this year and next year, hoping that by so doing the expenditure will to a great

extent be spread cut so as to be met by the surplus

of revenue over expenditure anticipated.
